The HYDROLogic Smart System utilizes today's best components, practices and procedures. All components comprising the system meet stringent HYDROLogic Smart System requirements, including water conservation characteristics, performance and longevity.
Smart controllers estimate or measure depletion of available plant soil moisture in order to operate an irrigation system, replenishing water as needed while minimizing excess water use. A properly programmed smart controller requires initial site specific set-up and will make irrigation schedule adjustments, including run times and required cycles, throughout the irrigation season without human intervention.
Higher pressure sprinklers that rotate around themselves. They are generally driven by a gear drive and can be designed to rotate in a full or partial circle.
Sprinklers that spray in a fixed pattern. They use low water pressure and should be on a spray dedicated zone. Too high of pressure will cause the water emitted from the sprinkler to “mist”, thereby being prone to movement away from the intended watering target to off-target areas (walks, buildings, etc…).
Device for used to regulate flow in your irrigation system. Their operation (opening or closing) is controlled by the irrigation system Smart Controller using low voltage to activate an electrical component of the valve (called a solenoid). When the automatic valve is energized by the Smart controller, water enters the pipes within that hydrozone, resulting in sprinkler operation.
